On 1 April 2008 my husband Andy and I purchased Brian and Ngaere Thornalley's Fruit Cake business which they had been operating from their home in Richmond for 5 years.
Although the faces behind the cakes and the packaging changed, we remained loyal to the original family recipe that has been handed down through three generations.
All of our products are hand made by myself in a commercial kitchen we have set up at our home in Redwood Valley, Richmond. Andy and our 4 kids all help out when things get busy or pocket money is required!
By being fully involved in the whole process from ordering ingredients through to despatch I can retain maximum control over the final product, ensuring that only the best quality ingredients are used and that our products are delivered anywhere throughout the world on time.
By hand baking every cake, I know that each cake is cooked to perfection.
